Midweek Inspiration!

Welcome to FBR’s new Home:
Fantasy Battle Roundup is back! I have posts planned for the next three days so please check back again soon.  Let me know what you think of the new site? I still have a lot of improvements to make, but hope you enjoy what I’ve accomplished so far.

Army Roundup Explained:
An addition to the site that you may not notice at first is the ‘Army Roundup’ section.  This area is suppose to be a roundup of the best up to date hobby resources, army reviews, message boards, podcasts, and videos for each of the WHFB armies.  It is still a work in progress, so if you know of an awesome army resource of any type whether it be a painting tutorial, or great Youtube battle report, please let me know at fantasybattleroundup@gmail.com

Long time Long beard!
One of my favourite blogs that was blogging before blogging became cool, is Hobby Horse!  It has to be one of the longest running hobby sites, starting way back with Griffin Painting. The sites have contributed some great content over the years.  Recently posted to the blog was a comparison between the new Avatars of War plastic set and GW Dwarf plastics. Check it out!

Fantastic Firmir Fun
Mr. Saturday’s Mumblings is one of those blogs that can really suck you in!  With cool conversions, and great paint jobs it’s hard to stop viewing.  One awesome project Mr. Saturday  has been working on over the last few months is a Firmir army.  Storm of Magic allows you to use Firmir’s in your WHFB games once again, so if your looking for a cool side project be sure to read how Mr. Saturday is converting these bad boys!

Table Top Thoughts
Another great looking blog with WHFB content is Table Top Hell.  This is a great looking blog with what seems like daily content.  They recently put up a battle report with High Elves versus Lizardmen.  I’m looking forward to following this site, and hope they share some pics of their hobby collection.

Please let me know what you think of these sites, FBR’s new home or the Army Roundup section, by posting a comment below, or contacting me via Twitter @FBroundup.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to this weeks contributors!
